Order placement

Once you have placed all the items you want in your shopping cart, please proceed to the checkout where you will be guided through the simple and secure payment process. Please note that Country cottage collectables and Digforvintage are fully committed to protecting our customers' information; therefore we will only ever use your personal details for the purpose for which it was given and will never share or pass this information to any third party.

Please note: We are always happy to provide you with further information.

Donít be afraid to ask! At a push and if you are very patient we can even obtain further pictures of your intended purchase.

Payment

UK Buyers

We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards, but only via PayPal. It is simple and quick to register and also free. You do not require a PayPal account. Just go to www.paypal.co.uk. You can of course pay with a PayPal balance. Please can customers make sure that the address on their PayPal account is also the delivery address for their order.

International buyers

We welcome customers from outside the UK. PayPal is the only method of payment we can accept from international buyers. 

Delivery

Delivery costs vary between each product. Once you have placed an item in your shopping cart you will be able to see the delivery cost for that item. You can still remove it at this point if you are not happy with the shipping costs. 

Multiple Orders 

We are more than happy to combine postage costs if you are ordering more than one item. This isn't always possible as a multiple order can cost the same as sending several things individually but we will try our best to save you money if we can. Please let us know via the Contact page what you would like to purchase and a postage cost will be emailed to you. We regret partial postage refunds cannot be issued after you have purchased and paid.

We aim to despatch parcels as quickly as possible but please allow up to 14 days for delivery before getting in touch regarding your order status. 

*Please be aware that we are a rurally based business and although we try to post as often as possible it may be that your order will not be posted for a few days after you have placed it. If you need something in a hurry, do please get in touch and we will do everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible.

Delays can also be caused by Bank Holidays, Ferries, Industrial action, Cows on the road, Red Squirrels eating through power cables, Dogs eating order forms, Boys being a nuisance and generally life just getting in the way.

Please note that larger items and furniture may take longer to be delivered.

If a delay is anticipated we will keep you informed.

UK

Parcels are automatically insured up to the value of £41.00 against loss or damage (there are exceptions to this; notably breakables such as glass or china) Goods over the value of £41.00 will be sent without insurance unless this is specifically requested and paid for separately so please be aware of this before ordering. Uninsured items are sent entirely at your own risk and we cannot be held responsible for any loss or breakages thereafter.

In some instances, there may be an additional cost involved in shipping to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man Scottish Highlands and Islands and other far flung beautiful places. Please email before purchasing for confirmation.

Country cottage collectables and Digforvintage will not be held responsible for a delayed delivery once it is in the hands of a third party.

It goes without saying so here goes, wherever possible we use recycled packaging. This is because itís what we do and it helps to keep the cost of delivery down.

International

We are happy to ship worldwide, however the delivery costs quoted are for the UK only. Please email to discuss shipping costs before ordering.

Returns and condition of goods

Please be aware that the items we sell at Country cottage collectables and Digforvintage are genuine previously used pieces and not from a factory in the Far East unless they are of course, from a factory in the Far East and as a consequence may show some signs of wear commensurate with age. What we consider a major fault or product damage will always be brought to your attention in the description but an item is likely to have some general wear in addition to that. Items will not be refunded due to being old, vintage or collectable. However the customer is always right and if you are unhappy with your purchase in any way, you may return it in the condition in which it was received and in the original packaging for a full refund minus original and any additional postage costs. We will accept returns within 10 working days of receipt. It is strongly recommended that you send returns via a secure delivery method such as recorded delivery because if they donít come back you donít get a refund.

Any shipping costs incurred by us will be deducted from any refunds given on returned items.

We are always happy to provide you with additional images or information please ask!

All sizes are as near as we can get them but are approximate.

A note about images

The images of our genuine vintage pieces displayed in our online shops are the best we can do. We are not professional photographers, but are trying to give a true representation of the article for sale, please be aware that the picture that is taken by the camera and the one that you see on your computer screen may have slight differences. Lot's of elements can affect the final image quality and therefore some things such as colours may not be 100% accurate but please remember we are selling quality vintage items and really want you to be happy with your purchase.
