Vintage South London Brewery Tinplate Advertising Sign

The South London Brewery was founded in 1760 and was based at 134 Southwark Bridge Road. In 1937 it was registered as Jenner's Brewery Ltd and it was taken over by Woodhead's of Islington in 1944. This rare and interesting brewery sign depicts as well as lists the key brewing ingredients required for brewing it's famous fine ales. Hops, Equipment, Malting Barley, Experience and Yeast. The edges of this eye catching and appealing sign are a little rusty and there is general age related wear over the sign but it does not detract from the brewers pictorial story of what made SLB the best London Beer. I have not seen another sign relating to this historic London brewery and therefore believe this would be much appreciated by collectors and beer fanatics equally.
