What a lovely old childrens book from the time of Empire, charming black and white and coloured illustrations on nearly every page with four full size luxurious colour plates.

Fourteen short stories, ideal for bedtime, the book has been read over and over but is still clean for it's age, the spine is a little loose and a couple of pages are just hanging on in there. 

Oh, but what a jolly book this is, all smiles, picnics and wholesome adventures, those really were happy days!
