Extremely elegant fine bone china tea time trio by Thomas Forester 1912 to 1959.

The pattern number is 3898 and I think it dates from the 1930's early 1940's the set is festooned with charming plaited garden flowers on a crisp white bone china.

The classical floral garland includes pretty pink roses and viola's intertwined with other garden favourites.

The gently hexagonal shaped cups have gilt detailing and gold crinkly edges and are just so high tea!

The manufacturers mark is stamped on each piece and they are also stamped seperately with Best English China just in case you were in any doubt.

There is some wear in places to the gilt detailing, particularly to the delicate handles on the tea cups as I have tried to show in the photograph but overall they are quite superb.
